Cindy Calderon
In 2008 and 2011, Cindy traveled with the First Shot Academy team to Costa Rica to compete in a premier tournament. Her performance in these tournaments gained her a tryout with the Costa Rican National team and recognition from local coaches. After weeks of practices, training camps and tournaments, Cindy was offered a roster spot and worked her way to a starting position. She was set to compete against the USWNT in the 2012 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying game for CR but was ineligible to travel out of the country with the team due to issues with her dual citizen paperwork. She played in the W-League, a semi-pro women's soccer league in North America for 4 years for the NJ Wildcats and the North Jersey Valkyries. Cindy played D1 soccer for Fairleigh Dickinson University and was a 4-year Varsity starter at Indian Hills High School. Cindy was part of the 2 NJ State Group 2 back-to-back Championships in 2002 and 2003. Currently, she is a starter for the NJ Alliance FC in the Garden State League. She began as a Jr. coach at a young age and acquired her first independent coaching position at just 18 years old and has coached all ages for FSS.

Jonathan played varsity soccer at Pompton Lakes High School, where he became a league champion along with being nominated for Honorable Mention All-County. He attributes much of this success to his developmental years spent at RYSA under the training of First Shot Soccer. After graduating from Rutgers University in 2016 he reconnected with First Shot and accompanied them as they brought a youth team to play in Costa Rica. He has since obtained his U.S. Soccer E License and is looking forward to coaching the next generation of players through First Shot.
